Field Notes
What if recurring behavior is evidence?
July 2026
A dog calmly accepted vaccines at home and then became impossible to vaccinate at the clinic.
Same dog.
Different conditions.
I kept thinking about how fast we turn behavior into identity.
Aggressive.
Difficult.
Controlling.
Resistant.
Disengaged.
Not a team player.
Sometimes those words point to something real.
But if we name the person too quickly, we stop investigating the conditions.
What changed in the room?
Who had power?
What felt unsafe?
What did the system require from the body before the body said no?
The behavior still matters.
Impact still matters.
But recurring behavior is also data.
It tells us something about the arrangement around it.
Before I decide what something is, I want to understand where it makes sense.
If your business keeps returning to the same pattern, start with the intake.
