Answer plainly. I am looking for the shape of the pattern, not polished language.

Name the recurring situation, outcome, conflict, bottleneck, or decision loop you want me to investigate.

02. What have you already changed that did not change the outcome?

Examples: strategy, team structure, leadership roles, messaging, meetings, hiring, pricing, processes, accountability, tools, or expectations.

03. What is the explanation people usually give for this pattern?

What does the team, founder, board, partner, or leadership group currently believe is causing it?

04. What about that explanation feels incomplete?

Where does the story stop satisfying you?

05. When did this pattern first become visible?

Share any history that feels relevant: growth stage, founder transition, layoffs, leadership change, new offer, market shift, funding pressure, merger, family/business dynamics, or repeated turning point.

06. Who or what keeps getting pulled into the center?

This could be a person, role, team, founder, client type, offer, decision, metric, conflict, or responsibility.

07. What does the current pattern make easier, safer, or more predictable?

Even unwanted patterns usually serve something. What might this one be preserving?

08. What would become exposed, risky, or newly required if this pattern stopped?

This question often reveals what the system may be protecting.

09. What changed, and what stayed the same?

Name the visible changes and the conditions, assumptions, relationships, or constraints that may have stayed intact.

10. What would make this investigation worth doing?

Name the shift you are hoping for. It does not need to be polished.
